Stand Your Ground

Side One Dummy 71225

Released on March 20, 2001

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Straight from the depths of Los Angeles comes Madcap, the new breed of street punk. In the spirit of early Rancid, Anti Flag, and the entire 77 punk movement, “Stand Your Ground” possesses the punk rock fury and sing along anthems that makes this release an instant classic as well as a must own for every punk. This record features 12 songs about sticking it to the man and drinking a pint while doing it. Madcap will be appearing on the entire 2001 warped tour.

This CD was pretty good. I've seen these guys a few times in the past. Having just bought this, it's easy to see that they have come a long way since this release. Buy this.

not as good as i thought it would be, but still pretty good. i discovered them through the 2001 warped tour comp. and was listening to going on the road for a long time and i finally bought this cd. so if you have extra money buy this cd, and if you're a true madcap fan, why don't you have this cd yet?

This cd is awesome. If you like softer punk but not pop punk then you should get this cd. Sounds a lot like Rancid and Ramones. This is not fast punk if you like NOFX and Good Riddance. All of the songs are sweet. One of my favorite cds!

I bought this cd expecting a political band (after hearing a sampler) along the lines of Anti-Flag, but did not get that. This is a good cd , but it lacks lyrically. Some people dont care too much about lyrics but I think they make a world of difference. Overall this is a nice cathy punk rock album. The songs will be stuck in your head for days.
