Skycamefalling

10.21 Full Length

Ferret Music 19

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Skycamefalling's first full length and their biggest musical step yet. Choas slams headlong into rhtym and melody as genre barriers are stretched and broken. '10.21' clocks in at just under an hour of musical experience. Desperate vocals reign over thick, intricate guitar work. Elements of the raw hardcore attack from their debut ep 'to forever embrace the sun' have grown into a mature, emotional hardcore experience. Produced by Jim Winters of Turmoil.

as if this cd needs more praise... great cd. better recording than their previous release. doesn't need to be fast to rock. if you like this stuff, you should also track down a copy of their self title -- the last 2 studio tracks by skycamefalling.

Bands I am into in the hardcore genre are bands like Hopesfall, Poison the Well, Underoath, The Bled, more melodic screamo type stuff. This has its own style in that same category, they sound like no other hardcore band but I would say fit well in the category of music I listen to. If you get what the f I'm saying and like some of these bands you will like this cd. Just giving a little insight.

Meh. Not my thing. I listened to this for two weeks, maybe 3 or 4 times. I can see how some people would like it. I got into Poison the Well and nearly shit my ass, and proceeded to pick up a CD by every band I heard in the same sentence as PTW. Well, I got this, and it never really sunk. I'm giving it a middle rating because I can't say that I like or hate it. I just didn't dig it.

This if my first SkyCameFalling record I've bought and I'm sure it won't be my last. From start to end this record is intense and vocals and guitars are amazing. If you are a fan of hardcore or melodic h/c then you're sure to love SCF.

I bought this disk a while back, it is by far one of my favorite Metalcore albums. I am a huge fan of hardcore music, and I have a large selection, this disk is amazing. It is a must for any fan of hardcore music.

I don't know what to say about this cd...its weird....most of its really good, melodic, and intense, and the singer has a fuckin cool voice, but its quiet slow.....they kindda remind me of Poison the Well, but a little more indie...The cd in general is good, but like i said, its not very fast and not very aggressive...the metalcore that skycamefalling plays is defintely different from another brand of sound out there, and they are really good at jamming out and playing beatiful melodies, but again.....not fuckin fast enough...I'd love to see these guys live....check out song # 10; is a really fuckin good instrumental....

I was really sad to hear that skycamefalling broke up, but at least their music will stay alive in this cd. I havent heard their first cd yet but I know what I like and I like this cd. Musically these guys keep you guessing with their constant tempo changes so it makes it impossible for you to sit still when you're listening. But as far as originality goes they dont really sound too different from FromAutumntoAshes or Hopesfall(which also kick alot of ass). But nevertheless, still a great cd. I'll be picking up their first album soon.

This album truely blew me away. The songs are carefully engineered and put together to provide a unique sound. Songs do not lack substace, at all. The different riffs and sounds provided in each song is variablistic within itself. Get this album if your into a complex sound, and you know good hardcore when you hear it.

well, i have to say i was somewhat dissapointed with this, the last ever, release by skycamefalling. i think because i was expecting the brutal 'to further embrace the sun' type of stuff, and this cd is a little bit different from that one. the saving grace was 'with paper wings', i dont think im alone in saying that is probably scf's best song.

I just got this along with PTW tear from the red which I can't even listen to and FATA who are pretty good I guess but skycamefalling (it's one word) are just incredible.
