by far my favorite band in the world right now, these discs have a few gems, but i would suggest starting with "roll on" if you dont have a history with the band. definitely hints at the brilliance of this band today, a little more rockabilly, little less radio friendly, a good raw live feel!

Great double cd by one of the best bands in the business, possibly suffers by a quiet sound quality but still knocks spots off the decidedly average latest offering state of emergency-double bass guys,do you remember how to play it because it's almost non-existant?!Anyway,It's for your own good is the better disc,English army being the stand out track of the two albums.Hellbound also an interesting early version of the classic self-titled version of Strange, not as good but interesting all the same.If your a big fan i would strongely suggest buying this great value double cd but if you don't like early living end then this will probably not do it for you.

These EP's are really good if you'd like to hear the raw side of TLE. Both are great releases in their own rights. One thing I expecially like is that you can hear the upright bass clicks. Awesome shit if you're more into the more rockabilly and punk stuff that TLE play.

let's see... half good half bad. The first disc, "Hellbound" is a VERY good cd. This carries a very psycho sound with unmatched stand-up and guitar work. Check out the instrumental song 'hellbound' and you'll know what i mean. However, the second disc, "Its For Your Own Good," sounds like regurgitated pop-punk. A few moments of brilliance, but overall really bad. I would still buy this though, the first disc (8 songs) is pure musical genius.

A great way for collector scum like myself to tide themselves over with the original being long outta print and nearly impossible to find. Artwork's awesome, but the songs just don't compare to their later, more recent stuff.

YEAH THIS CD IS GOOD. ITS WAY MORE ROCKABILLY THAN THEIR OTHER TWO CDS. FIRST OFF I WANT TO SAY THIS ISNT PUNK ROCK AT ALL. THE MOST IT CAN BE IS MAYBE PUNKABILLY SORT OF LIKE THE BARNYARD BALLERS. BUT ITS MORE OF AN UP BEAT ROCKABILLY. IF YOU JUST LIKE GOOD MUSIC YOU SHOULD AT LEAST CHECK THIS OUT. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR PSYCHOBILLY DONT BUY THIS IF YOUR LOOKING FOR PUNK ROCK DONT BUY THIS, BECAUSE THATS NOT WHAT IT IS. THINK STRAY CATS BUT OF THE 90'S.

First off Fuck major record labels, and Fuck Target Commercials with the Living End. These Aussie pussies are part of the long string of shitty bands that bring punk down to a shitty level. An example of a gay band with nothing to say. Im sorry, i just had to get mad at a band and this piece of shit band got the load. If you are on MTV to promote your "punk" band you are not punk. Good Charlotte/Green Day/Blink 182/sum 41 are not punk they might have been once but not anymore.

If you like Living End, you should get this! This pair of CDs is much more rockabilly than their 2 newer albums. Great songs!

THIS CD I VERY VERY LAME, IT SUCKS, REALLY DONT BUY IT. IF YOU WANT TO BUY SOMETHING FROM THE LIVING END, BUY THEIR SELF TITLED ALBUM, THAT ONE RULES, O AND BE SURE TO CHECK OUT LOS KUNG-FU MONKEYS, I JUST BOUGHT IT AND THEY ARE VERY GOOD, AND IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME, LISTEN TO THE MP3 THEY PLAY SKA-CORE LIKE THE SUICIDE MACHINES, THEY ARE VERY GOOD.
