The final album from the SST line of Husker Du albums, this is a great finale before hitting the big time. the only song I don't really care for is the Baby song, which is nothing like what I thought it was going to be (I thought it was a song about babies and going through babyhood), but it's just a guy saying the baby song and you hear a slide whistle. that's it. One of the best songs on this album (and I listened to from all the songs I've heard from this Band) is Makes no Sense at all. I also got the EP 8 miles high/makes no sense at all (not from this site) and it's still a great song. Flip Your Wig is diffinently a album to put in your collection and for those who are new, this is a good start and along with New Day Rising and Zen Arcade.

If this is important to you then you should know that this was Husker Du's last release on an independent label. Good stuff, although the instrumentals don't do anything for me. There some classics on here like the title track, "Makes No Sense At All", and "Games". More poppy than their earlier stuff, but you're not gonna mistake it for Blink 182 or Green Day. Pop punk fans will enjoy.
