A ridiculously catchy pop punk/melodic hardcore/ska album. Somehow WATU manages to blend all genres with what seems like little effort. Filled with breakdowns, gang vocals, horn lines and even some clapping. All songs flow well except for These Colors Flee The Scene, it sounds like it doesn't belong on this album since it's much slower and has some not so good screaming in it.
Best songs: I Am Kinda Like John Cusak..., This Is My Life(And It's Ending One Minute At A Time), Occupational Hazard and Ourcore. I'd recommend it for fans of Less Than Jake, Set Your Goals, or The Flatliners.

Catchy ska/pop-punk/hardcore/some-other-subgenre hasn't been like this before. Awesome tunes that sounds like a good mixture of Less Than Jake, Set You Goals, Four Year Strong, and New Found Glory.

Think of Less than Jake. If you love them, you will like We Are The Union. Another great band on Community Records. Just Buy! Hell just buy any band on the Community Records label!

"One of the best pop-punk/ska-core albums ever written" is the only description that comes to mind when thinking of what to tell someone who I want to check out WATU. Every song is filled with catchy hooks and great music that will stick in your head for weeks on end. The album never gets old and has been in constant rotation in my CD player since I bought it. It starts off strong with "MTV Is Over If You Want" and ends just as strong, if not stronger with the group chanting "We're just being who we are/We take the road less traveled on/We're not reaching for the stars" on the last song "Ourcore" (which is my favorite track off the album. They stuck to their guns and put out one of the best, catchiest records of '07 with "Who We Are" Buy the CD, it's only $6!

This album really sticks out among the clusterfuck. It's hard for an ignoramus like me to stumble across good melodic hardcore bands, so imagine my excitement when I found these guys. Just good fast tunes all the way through. Anyone can make one good song, but making an entire album awesome is the hallmark of a rad band. Don't worry about the vocals either. No stupid whiny shit. They also mix ska into the music as well. To me, melodic hardcore and ska is kind of a strange mix, but it works out, as evidenced by the album (listen to it free on purevolume!) So yes, buy this record (after you listen to it on purevolume fer free.)
