Yeh a pretty solid release. It sucks that i heard throwing matches first then bought the cd because none of the other songs really match up to that one. Id actually go 3 and a half starts for this ep. I look forward to a full length.

This EP definitely comes off as a side project. It doesn't mean it isn't good, it's just that Last Of The Believers still needs to find their sound. "Throwing Matches" sounds like a song left off Ignite's last CD and "You Get What You Get" sounds like it was a song Chris Chasse wrote for Rise Against. The rest of the EP sounds like a mix of Spark Of Life/Reach The Sky.
Don't get me wrong I listen to everyone of those bands except Spark Of Life, and all the songs are good. This EP just isn't cohesive as it jumps from one extreme to another. Once they find their sound this band will rip, assuming that it develops into more than just a side project. Overall it's a good start, and the price is reasonable for this.
By the way, I don't understand the guest vocals from the singer of Throwdown. Must of stopped in on the recording and found a mic...

Almost 13 minutes of blistering wikidness.
These guys are EXACTLY what i like listening to! Its like they got in my head and said, sick, lets play this shit!
Fast, hard-ish, catchy, melodic, punky! Its everything.
A must have for fans of A Wilhelm Scream, Rise Against, Break the Silence, Much the Same, well, you get the point.
Great Work Dudes, cant wait for a full length.

Amazing start for what I think will be the best new Melodic Hardcore band of 07/08. Five songs that range in speed to show off the talents of this group of musicians that were once/are in bands like Rise Against and Ignite. Anyone who like's bands like Comeback Kid and No Trigger will like this.

Very impressive debut cd. Hasn't left my cd player since I received it in the mail. I recommend this album to fans of Rise Against, Bad Religion, AFI, Terror, and Hot Water Music.. Great diverse cd, and I can't wait for a full length.
