Indecision Alarm

Incecision Alarm

(ex-members of Union Square, Adhesive, Straitjacket Generation and Anguish)

Tic Tac Totally 4

Released on November 21, 2006

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Sort of like Propagandhi, I-Spy, Husker Du, Minor Threat and Face to Face stuck in a Swedish blender somewhere (uh...Sweden?). 8 examples of melodic-technical delivery and a sense of sincerity in approach. Not over-polished, but tight and consistently real. A forceful but melodic debut effort. Socially conscious lyrics, nice vocal harmonies, technical guitar work and fast/ALMOST larger-than-life drums. feat. Ex-members of Union Square, Adhesive, Straitjacket Generation and Anguish.

The Indecision Alarm is a band with great potential. It's so good to hear a punk band play fast melodic tunes in 2007. Every song is good and the only thing i don't really like on this are the guitar tones. They're a bit too thin sounding. Oh yeah, the vocals do sound very similar to Todd the Rod.

Is it just me or does the singer sound exactly like Todd the Rod? Don't get me wrong, that's not a bad thing (in fact I love Todd's voice), I'm just saying. Good mix of melody and aggression, but some of the songs sound a little half-assed. It's still better than a lot of stuff out there right now though. I'd expect we can plan on hearing some even better stuff from these guys down the road.
