I think this CD rules, but I'm even more excited about the new album that's coming out really soon. That's going to fucking rock. My favorites from this CD are: Shift, Imperial Horizon, and Aphasia. To me, this band can best be described as an awesome skate punk band that also includes elements of technical punk and hardcore punk. Go to their Myspace page and give them a listen.

Wow. I was impressed. I feel like it's the 90's again. This debut CD is an instant classic. Fast/technical/melodic skate-punk. I just can't get enough of it. The lyrics just make me want to scream out and sing along. There's not one song on this album that I skip. It comes with great guitar/vocal harmonies and shredding solos. The musicianship is pure quality. This CD is a definite must for any skate-punk fan.

This is the greatest punk cd ever recorded. If you don't have this cd, you don't know something very important. In an age of processed poppunk with their flashy gimicks and typical behavior, this cd stands alone. It does not follow pertained formats of how to write a song. The sonic quality is clear but raw. It's as if HTS has flicked boogers at those ultra-producers that think they know what punk should sound like. Phooey! If one takes into consideration the 'talent' aspect of music, they will adore this cd. If one thinks that an intellectually idealistic point of view is a good thing, they will like this cd. HTS is keeping punk alive in a day when it would rather die out for greed and rockstar apathy.

I always describe Hit the Switch as NOFX meets Sum 41, which is ironic because I'm not really a fan of either. But for some odd reason, Hit the Switch may be the greatest punk band to date, at least nowadays. With good, fast tracks and a replay value of months at a time, there is nothing more i want out of them then a few more albums. Punk rock doesnt have to be completely alienated from whimsical and touching songs. Track 8 "The Wayside", in my opinion, is a beautiful and harmonious punk rock song. I never expected it, to find such profoundness in the kind of music they represent. But they never fail to leave you with goosebumps and a feeling of such empowerment. Kudos to HTS, and to those of you who will never hear them, I pity you. You can't find this kind of grace while staying true like Hit the Switch.

One of my all time favorite albums.

Well worth $10.75

There is not one bad track on the entire album, they are angry, they know what they are talking about, and they are passionate. Great modern punk band.

the bridge of political punk only spans so far..until you listen to the new bands, such as Hit The Switch. This band seems to incorporate every decent aspect of punk rock...which incidentally includes knowing how to play your instrument these-a-days-a. Check them out, hear 'em through, and if you still think they suck, then guess what pal...you suck, not the band. So give these guys your 10 bucks or whatever the fuck it is for their CD and then go run a hot shower(keep it to 5 minutes 'cause hydro costs kick up in the summer) and jerk yourself off into a new generation into the 3rd world of half decent 'know what notes' punk rock...with speed. Fuck you, buy it.

Amazing album. This is just fantastic fast punk rock with great lyrics that make you think and have a message.

Buy this album if you like Much The Same, The Swellers, 90's Strung Out and other 90's Skate Punk bands.

Best songs are 1, 7, 8 & 12

I'm a little confused as to why this cd has been marketed and advertised as being a Nitro release because the cd has not one mention of it being released by Nitro. That having been said this is a very great cd! Good, fast punk rock that brings to mind Bigwig meets Pennywise with a hint of Anti-Flag. It's good to hear bands that bring back that good style of punk that is now gone and do it well. If you are into any of the said bands or like what Nitro has been releasing lately then this is a must.
