Blitzkid

Trace Of A Stranger

Horror High 1105

Released on November 8, 2005

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Blitzkid blasts like a bat of hell with doomsday ferocity, resurrecting the feel of old Danzig, and the Misfits while bleeding their own class of creep-yard punk metal.
"Trace Of A Stranger" is back from the grave and reissued due to overwhelming demand. Drenched with dark harmonies and sonically stitched together like Frankenstein's monster. This 2003 classic holds strong timelessly.

Unrelenting punk fury, spine-tingling balladry, psycho riffs, corpse-shaking vocals - Every day is Halloween.

I Don't know what to say about this album. It was good, but I had high hopes and I guess I was expecting too much. I'm not saying that I hate it, I actually love it now. All the tracks are good except A HOPELESSS NIGHT which is a love song, and love songs are not nice to my ears. Ovarall, this CD is definitly better than whats out there these days. ANyways, Blitzkid Fangs for good music :)

Horror punk at its finest! Blitzkid makes very lovely catchy songs. I highly recommend this album - though I wouldn't compare them to The Misfits or especially AFI - I don't think it's anything like AFI. As for The Misfits, I personally love the band, but Blitzkid doesn't sound very much like them - they're a great horror punk band in their own right. My favorite song on the album is Lupen Tooth though it seems like everyone likes She Dominates - at least according to the voting at the moment. The vocals are amazing - there's a vaguely blues type essence to them. Even if you don't like the lyrics of horror punk music, get the CD just for the vocals!

I've been playing this through the old headphones all day in work (It's been one of those days) and I'm happy to report Punk Pickers that it ain't bad. It ain't original but it ain't bad. Hell, originality is over rated anyway. I mean, how many bands can, hand on heart, claim to be totally original? Blitzkid do however have a few tricks up their sleeves which make this an enjoyable descent through the catacombs of horror punk and all for the princely sum of $7-75. Ah, you can't beat it with a big stick!

A great album from Blitzkid! One of the best and cool-sounding vocals I have heard.Contains some of my favorite songs ever. She dominates is already a classic!Buy this cd whoever you are.The only thing negative about this release is the sound quality.Hopefully their next cd will be better in that area.

Awesome album from these guys this is a remake of a previous album that they had done but this one sounds way better produced so much that at first I actually thought it was a different album. If you love horrorpunk in the vein of old afi, green goblyn project or the misfits then you will love this one.

I don't know why man people see this as a bad cd. I thought it was great. Okay, not the most amazing cd you can have, but still a good one to listen to. If you like listening to graveyard stories and stuff like that, then get it, but if you are more of a down to earth person I wouldn't consider it.
