Saddest Landscape

Sound Of The Spectacle (European)

narshardaa 6

Released on January 1, 2004

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

This is the sound of hearts broken beyond repair, of lonley sleepless nights and desperate 4am phone calls. This is the sound of secrets you are too afraid to tell, of emo being made punk again. Intense music....emotional, rocking, great...in the vein of Transistor Tansistor, Saetia, You & I and Hot Cross... for the european release Saddest Landscape had recording one extra song for this european pressing....;)

if you dont own anything by this band, or know of them, you cannot say you like emo or know what it is. probably the best thing to happen to the genre. get this. and their new split wit Pianos become the teeth.

This record is incredibly emo. This record is also incredibly good. There are only a few songs on this lp because there doesn't need to be anymore. Every track is pure heartache, with crashing drums, screamed or yelled vocals, and an overall feeling of desperation. I've never seen this band live but I can imagine their sets would be very short because no band could handle playing these kinds of songs for a long period of time. This record is simply intense and the singer breaks down crying on half the songs. Most people will hate this. Personally, I thougth it was beautiful hearing a band as honest as The Saddest Landscape was on this record.
