Overall, a very good album...considering they do not sound like anyone else. Very original mix of genres. A must-have for anyone who into experimental, genre-defying music.

If you like the Blood Brothers, Billy Talent, The Hives..Then I'm pretty sure you'd like this. Amazing record. Fun, Loud songs, but it does lack a little bit...they could've been a little more creative.

Imagine the blood brothers with heavier, more brutal breakdowns and you have Foxy Shazam. The thing about this cd tho is that about 5 songs are completely meh, boring, but the rest are really good. The heavy breakdowns are what makes this cd kick ass tho i will admit. Basically, if you're a Blood Brothers fan then you're going to want to pick this up.

One gets the impression that it will be impossible to hear a mention of this band without the words "The Blood Brothers" being mentioned the next breath. All the two have in common is a penchant for creative songwriting which seeks to merge genres into a unique and dynamic sound.
So how do Foxy do? On the whole, very well. The more conventional scream along tracks fill the first half of the album, all of which are mini-masterpieces. Special mention has to go to "No! Don't Shoot", for having the most bizarre yet hilarious lyrics for a good while. But Foxy Shazam also succeed when kicking it down a notch, especially on the album closer where mocked up technical hitches seek to destroy an ethereal piano ballad.
Recommended for fans of loud, melodic, creative music.

WEll i like this band. They have a different sound than most bands right now. The screaming is great and the singing remindes me of...umm well its cool. The best songs on the cd are #1 #2 #8 and #10. the reason not a five is because some of the songs are a little to... well they drag on and are a little boring. I recomend this CD definatly it is very Entertaining.
