This cd ain't that bad but I just don't really like some of the first few songs. But it ain't bad at all for the money,I mean look how many songs are on it.

I thought this was actually a pretty good comp tho everyone seems to hate the south punk scene save Florida. Allergic to bullshit seems to be good along with Nucklehead. What your opinion?

well Maximum Rock N Roll gave this a bad review but then again MRR are elitist assholes who dont know shit. we have a great scene here in NC and the guys from My So-Called Band are helping it by putting out another great comp. although its not only limited to NC, the majority of the bands are from NC. Smash The States is a great comp and will stay in your player for weeks. there are maybe 3 or 4 songs on here that are more lo fi than others but theyre still good.(the fighting mailmen track for example kicks serious ass.) its punk rock from the south, but that doesnt mean its a bunch of rednecks who suck shit. this comp is fun and rad as hell. get it and support your scene.
