Big things always come out of Texas, and Los Skarnales are no exception! Blending together styles of rocksteady, reggae, ska, dub, rock a billy and their own latin flavor, Los Skarnales are one of the best live acts I have seen in a long time, and this new record represents that fully. It's rare when an album comes along that captures the raw energy of a live performance, and this is one of those moments. Just like Buck said "They managed to capture SWEAT on tape."

This is a good cd. It needs more reviews. So, although the singer's voice can get a bit irritating in some songs...I love this album. It has the latin american flavour. It has a sound like no other, which is a nice change! I would suggest it for just mixing up your cd collection a bit! Your friends might think you're crazy for singing along in spanish...but it's great. My favorite song would have to be Juarez. It has a bit of everything in it that never gets tiring. I bought this at the last minute in my order after only hearing the sample clip of Juana. So if you liked that, then do what I did..and get it!

One of the greatest bands ever to come out of Houston, Texas. This album is a solid mix of so many different genres of music it's hard to describe it. Alot of the songs are sung in Spanish. Roger Miret doese some guest vocals. I surely would recommend this album for anyone who wants a mix in their music collection. I was actually hoping this album was a little more 'Rockabilly', however it's a good CD and enjoy it!
