The band came out as an offspring from Swedish punks HDF 1995. Da Skywalkers became a sideproject when some songs were written in English. Both bands contained the same members including Richard, Linus and Tommy. Eventually most songs were written in English and HDF called it the day, to focus on
A few demo tapes and one MCD were released on SHC Records between 97-98. 1998 Kryckan (Chris) joined the band after playing live guitar for a year. One more demo was recorded before Robert joined the band 1999, and since then Da Skywalkers had the same line up for 4 years. A New Kind of Slavery 7" and United Kids MCD/7" was released on SHC Records (7" United Kids on Mad Butcher Records) and the debut album Smalltown Saviours on Household Name Records 2002.
A few tours followed the release and in June 2003 the second album "End Of A Chapter... Start Of A New" was released followed by a few tours.
At the end of the summer 2003 Linus decided to leave the band. Fortunetly our friend and former driver/merch man Mike accepted to join the band and to take charge of the vocal duties.
