Great EP. The only problem with this album is that it is too short. I am waiting for the full length album. All the songs are good with a catchy "pop punkish" feel with a little bit more emotion and anger- even though there is no screming on this album. I mostly listen to Screamo/post-hardcore stuff( GREELEY ESTATES-the best new band out there)-but this short album does hold its own. Favorite song is "an eye for an eye" You can't go wrong with this album and the price.

AMAZING! This is the debut CD-EP from Stars Hide Fire (ex-Breaking Pangaea). Breaking Pangaea was one of my favorite bands, and while I loved them... Stars Hide Fire are actually much better. This CD rocks! You should buy it!

I would say this is the best cd I have heard since I bought the new Thrice cd, but it is only 5 songs. I have something against ep's, but it was only like 6 bucks. Good lyrics and musicianship. Very melodic emo/punk/rock. For fans of Taking Back Sunday and catchy music. Favorite song is "Fold" but every song on the cd is great. Buy it.

This cd hasn't left my player since i received it. A wonderful, delightful little number. Great for driving to, one cd which doesn't get me aggressive whilst driving which will keep the local police happy!

I was amazed when I first heard this cd - it's fantastic. there are 5 'proper' tracks, and then a bonus track which is an instrumental. The dual vocals and harmonies work really well and give depth to the music. The lyrics are good and catchy, and you'll find yourself humming the songs in your head. It's good, I'd certainly recommend this to anyone. It's hard for me to pick out a stand out track as they are all quite varied and they're all good - not a single track that you will skip on your cd player. A stunning debut cd, can't wait for the full length.

I was very impressed with melodies, and the riffs that these guys were able to put out. I wasn't expecting this cd to be as melodic as it is, but Stars Hide Fire puts it together great. I really enjoyed all the tracks put to me track 1 and track 4 really stick out. Very good, I had high expectations for this cd, and well the band put it together so well that they surpassed my expections 10 fold. Great music from a Great Band. A must have for any melodic hardcore fans.
