Street Dogs

Savin Hill

(Ex-Members Of Dropkick Murphys, Bruisers, Roger Miret And The Disasters)

Crosscheck 8707

Released on October 7, 2003

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Street Dogs are a 4 piece rock/ punk rock band from Boston, MA with a mutual love and respect for real music. Formed in 2002, the band’s goal was to take punk and rock influences they had grown up with, mix melody, power, and a real, honest portrayal of the world and put it on record to take to the masses. The result is explosive and infectious.

Their debut album, Savin Hill, has 15 powerful, jump out of your seat, sing-along anthems clocking in at just over 40 minutes. Dig a little deeper into Street Dogs, and you’ll find 4 guys tired of the cookie cutter, bubble gum, TRL, excuse for punk rock. Street Dogs are proof positive that it is still possible to have catchy angst driven songs set to a real life lyrical backdrop.

Punk history in the making, and you get a free poster!! Also has a video.

The Best release of 2003! Mikey is back and he is a big ball of heart and guts. I believe this album is several times better than the new Dropkick Murphys release ("Blackout"). There is also a real nice CDROM feature of a Street Dogs Video and a Video Biography of all the Dogs. You will not go wrong with this release. Makes a great gift for a friend as well. Punk Rock is coming back MAMA!

Definitely brings back memories of early Dropkicks, and with Mike McColgan still rockin this record is amazing. Although the second half of the album seems to be more slow songs I enjoy them just as much as the fast ones and as well as old DKM acoustic tracks. I love this record.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! This is the way it should be. I'm glad McColgan's back in the game. For fans of early Dropkick Murphy's (obviously), The Hudson Falcons, etc. Oh yes, I'll be drinkin' to this one for sure.
