I agree with the other review...this cd isn't all that great. The attempt for the hardcore sound with screams just doesn't work, and the other songs are just so predictable. When you can preddict EXACTLY what chords or drum beat is coming up next on EVERY damn song, it kind of ruins the listening pleasure...I'd sooner listen to a NFG or Blink 182 disc before this, and that's pretty bad...5 Days Ahead should think about taking 5 years off and think of something creative to write.

this was a complete disapointment, i really tried to get in to this whole cd. but i just never feel like listening to it, i didnt know it was going to be half-ass hardcore, the screams just dont fit in. dont let this review through you off though, check these guys out, but this is just not for me.

not a bad release. i do not understand why no one has voted for track 5. i think this is the highlight from a pop punk cd that tends to fall into the trap of sounding a bit like many of its predecessors. #5 is a slower acoustic song with dual male/female vocals and a catchy chorus. id say it alone justifies the cash you shell out to buy it. the first half of the cd is pretty strong, but maybe that is because it sounds enough like the second half that i dont feel the need to listen to past #6 because ive already had my fill.
