Coloring Outside The Lines: A Punk Rock Memoir Book

"How's this for a great punk rock tale? Innocent girl befriends motley gang of fellow punks who end up turning her share house into a sea of sleeping bag-clad bodies, and eventually ends up with the honours of watching over Johnny Thunders as he passes out in her living room, and preparing a dinner party for the members of Black Flag... Coloring Outside the Lines is a story of how our music finds us, beating us over the head and dragging us on a soundtracked journey into life." - Geoff Parkes, Logged Off

"A great read and a fascinating look at the early 80's Punk Rock subculture." -Bobby Schayer, Bad Religion

"This book is a must in every punk and hardcore kid's bookshelf." -Jeffx, Quebec Hardcore News

This book sucked. I read this in one sitting and it pissed me off that I wasted 6 hours reading it. Do not buy this garbage.

This book is a really nice read. I might not be crazy about Amiee Cooper's style, however, I do love the story behind it all. I'd recommend it for anyone, since love for punk rock should be shown not only to the ones within the scene, but for 'outsiders' as well.
