Dropping Food On Their Heads Is Not Enough Benefit
Geykido Comet 6
Released on May 31, 2002

"Even if all packets reached a hungry person--and most have not, according to numerous reports from Afghanistan--[the food drops] would not have fed 15% of those starving for a single day." -Associated Press 10.29.2001
This CD has tons of politically-conscious and socially-aware punk artists coming together to help raise awareness and funds for the women and children of war-torn Afghanistan. 50% of the proceeds from this compilation will go to RAWA (Revolutionary Association for the Women of Afghanistan). Bands include: Anti-Flag, Bouncing Souls, Chumbawamba, The Devil is Electric, East Arcadia, The Frisk, Jack Killed Jill, Link 80, Pinhead Circus, Pistol Grip, Randy, The Voids, Youth Brigade, and a special spoken word track from Mr. Political Punk, Jello Biafra!
Amnesty International refers to Afghanistan as "the world's largest forgotten tragedy" -- we say, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
***comes with free info insert (with art by Shepard Fairey at OBEYGIANT.COM) and sticker straight from STICKERGUY!!

Some very good songs on here, like ESL?!, Intro5pect, Pistol Grip, Pinhead Circus, Youth Brigade, old Anti-Flag song that still is a good one. If nothing else, listen to some new groups and benefit a good cause. For Chrissakes, it's only a couple of bucks ya cheapskate. Good info in the liner too
