Wussy ska, you know and I know that there are alot of wussy bands out there and planet smashers is one of them. If you are scared of women you'll like this cd, but if you like cool ska like reel big fish because they sing about getting drunk then save your money and don't buy this one. Catch 22 is one to pick up or even pepper, their singer sounds like Brad Nowell(reincarnation).

Very fun to listen to. Nearly every song on this album is way awesome. If your into third wave ska you should seriously consider buying this. Their music video for the song "Surfin' in Tofino" convinced me to buy it. One listen to that song and I was hooked on the Planet Smashers, check 'em out on youtube.

this is a great CD. All the tracks are extrememly catchy and well worth the money i paid. i find myself listening everyday and not getting sick of the songs. they have a good range of ska and play reggae well too. just a great CD overall its probably one of my favorites. it definitely deserves a 5

seeing these guys at ska weekend '05 in knoxville tennessee was a treat; playing at the same event with the pl smshrs, mu33o, and mustard plug as well as a host of other kickin' ska acts from across the nation was a bigger treat. these fellas put on one hell of a fun set; i never heard the pl smashsrs music before i saw em at ska weekend so afterwards of course i had to pick up theyre debut-life of the party. well lets just say the songs were much more rockin live than on the cd, dont get me wrong- this is tight ska with some damn talented/groovin horn players, etc etc. BUT its nothing new to the table (at the time of its release, maybe)the standout trax are really the only ones that are really worth your ear(1,2,3,5,9), maybe with a few more listens, itll grow on me

This is my favorite album out of Mighty, and No Self Control. It's got the Upbeat fun thing going on with the traditional ska. I found it more "fun" than the other records. Definatly check it out.

pretty good, canadian ska. great live band....cool shit, nothing really stand out, lots of average pop-ska-punk so if your into that, then this is higher up on the list than most....cool.

This CD is yet another great CD from the Planet Smashers. Every song is just so damned catchy. I wanted to get up and skank to every song. And I did just that. Get it.

This is a great CD by The Planet Smashers. My first, but definatly not last. In this CD they have a much rawer sound than they do in Mighty, which isn't a bad thing.

There are a lot of catchy tracks on this CDs. Like Surfin' in Tofino, Super Orgy Porn Party, and Life of the Party.

A GREAT CD for any ska collection!
