Go Real Slow

Thirteen

Springman 13

Released on October 23, 2001

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

This New Jersey band has been described as the result of a battle royal between MxPx, Weezer, and The Get Up Kids; we describe them simply as "really good". Emotional pop-punk or um whatever. This CD has six rocking songs, it belongs in your CD collection, and is perfect for those break-dancing lessons.

Although a great pop punk band from NJ (punk capital U.S.A) Go Real Slow seems to carry too much of the same sound and melody from the first track to the last. Good vocals and energetic, power guitar riffs make this CD worth buying. However, after breaking up, the ex-members of GRS seemed to form bands that sounded even better, especially the Pennroyals (also from NJ). Still, "Thirteen" is a good pop punk CD worth having.

another great band from the NJ punk scene. this one is more emo-ish punk. i'm surprised that a band like this has never been offered a big contract, they sound like they deserve it.
