Luckie Strike

Future Is Turning

Tomato Head 13

Released on June 5, 2000

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

This 6-song EP proves what we've known all along. Luckie Strike is fucking awesome! Their sound is huger than huge, phatter than phat, and more energetic than you can imagine. This new form of aggressive female fronted punk/rock and roll is on a non-stop mission, travelling the U.S., coming to your town AND in to your living room if need be, with one thing in mind... to rock your world!

If you like Tsunami Bomb then you will probably like Luckie Strike. It has great female vocals and is really catchy. Plus it is on the same label that Tsunami Bombs first cd is on which is also great. But anyway get this and I can tell you now you will like it.

Catania's Punk/ska column straight out of MD. What can I say, probably one of the best female fronted fast punk rock bands out there....well until they broke up anyway. I've heard a lot of people say they don't really like female vocals in punk rock. Even I used to not be too fond of female fronted bands. However, since discovering bands like Element 101, What's Your Problem Brian and Luckie Strike, my tastes have changed quickly. Don't judge a band because of their name, where they're from, or the sex of the lead singer. Luckie Strike's energetic sounds, pounding guitars and "stuck in your head" vocals, will keep your world a'rocking!!! Since you've now lost all hope of ever seeing them live, I'd suggest you buy this CD now, so you can at least enjoy their sound, before it's sold out forever!!!.......Mike from Maryland
