Rock Against Malaria
Released on December 1, 2009
A common misconception is that malaria is largely eradicated, but the disease kills one person every thirty seconds and infects more than 500 million a year. Nothing But Nets is a foundation that gives nets to African families in need. The nets serve as protection from mosquitoes, and the insecticide on the nets can help to save not only the family inside the tents, but the entire village as well.
Rock Against Malaria is a compilation designed to raise money for Nothing But Nets. 100% of the proceeds will go to the foundation. Bands from all over the world have lent their talents to this cause. With six unreleased songs, Rock Against Malaria features bands with members of Swingin' Utters, The Lawrence Arms, Dead To Me, No Trigger, and One Man Army.
