Whats the Story Fanzine saz: After floating around the punk rock scene for the past 2 decades, Dave Dalton(AKA Dave Cell Block)returns with his most roots down punk rock effort 2 date. This time around we find Dave with his outfit CELL BLOCK 5.This is "Do It Yourself" to its highest form. It's CB5s"DIY" attitude that makes them such a great band, but it's also their "DIY" attitude that shows the lack of anger and teen angst that all the major labels R looking for in a punk band today.CB5 R all about fun & all their songs will make u happy to be a punk...From start 2 finish"King of Crowns"gives its listeners moshable riffs & sing-along lyrics. The songs 'nitey-night','R.K.L.',&'Drive' highlite the album & all of which would be punk rock anthems if they would of come out 15 yrs ago....All punks should buy this fun root down punk rock album ,& just in case u need another reason 2 buy it,it was produced by the legendary punk rocker & former DEAD KENNEDYs Guitarist, East Bay Ray ...Dan Kennedy

Cell block 5 is awsome. they sound alot like rancid and plus they are a local band (well sorta) but i like them alot and thats all that counts. they are a little bit more harder than rancid -- but that makes them all the more better. get this today you wont be dissapointed
