Well, its MxPx so I had to get it. Not bad. The more I listen the more I like. Came out right around the time as the best MxPx album, Life in General, which by the way is only $7.50 right now on interpunk as are the first edition of Let it Happen, and Teenage Politics so get with it and buy them! Anyways, 8 good covers of songs from bands I would never have otherwise heard. MxPx still plays some sick covers live so this is definately worth the buy. The tunes were originally performed by the following:

1-Summer of 69- Bryan Adams

2-Oh Boy-Buddy Holly

3-Drum Machine Joy-Joy Electric

4-You Found Me-The Altar Boys

5-Take On Me-AHA

6-Marie, Marie-The Blasters (Another rendition of Marie, Marie can be found on Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards 2004 release, Viking on Hellcat Records)

7-You Put This Love in My Heart-Keith Green

8-No Brain-The Cootees (old side project kinda thing with Tom playing drums and Mike on bass and I guess vocals…the Cootees never recorded it, but Mike wrote it when the Cootees were active.)

Overall 4 outta 5. Obiously not the best thing MxPx has ever done, but if you’re a huge fan it is a necessity. Really kinda fun to look back and see how far they have come. This is just another link in the timeline of records that MxPx has put out. Clocks in at about 20 minutes.

MxPx is a great punk band weather they're playing there old school punk songs or their more friendly Costello inspired tunes. But this ep is pretty bad. Only two good songs and one average one.
