Street Dogs/Dents

Split - Round One

(Features Mike McColgan Formerly Of Dropkick Murphy)

Abbey Lounge 1

Released on February 24, 2004

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Mike McColgan returns to the punk rock scene like an atom bomb with his new band....The Street Dogs. Rip roaring angst ridden guitars and anthematic vocals sum it all up on these two tracks... The Dents are one of the Street Dogs favorite bands in Boston and these guys tear it up like a Mack Truck on speed with their brand of in your face, female fronted rock 'n roll ala the Muffs meets the Ramones.

Firstly,it's the street dogs so it's not gonna disappoint.Secondly,it's early dogs which if you ask me is slightly better and rawer.Overall it's only 2 from each band and none of them let anybody down.First time i'd heard anything by dents but i'd probably buy something if it wasn't too pricey and i had a chance to hear a clip or two.Good stuff by both, worth the few $'s.
