Notes And Photographs

Interscope B000146102

Released on October 28, 2003

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Jamison Covington and Parker Case are JamisonParker. In August 2003 they wrote, performed and co-produced their debut release, Notes & Photographs, with Dave Trumfio (Wilco, The Anniversary, The Pulsars) at his Kingsize Soundlabs in Los Angeles.

The EP is a sonic testament to the band's steadfast indie rock upbringing, which according to Covington, included a diet of acts as diverse as the Replacements' Paul Westerberg, the Goo Goo Dolls' John Rzeznik and Cursive. Notes & Photographs is also a testament to Case's homespun recording techniques, a number of segments from the EP were tracked by Case at his home.

This is really good and creative pop punk, they are on a major label so the sound and production is very good. If you like the All American Rejects you will love this, you can even listen to the whole ep on their website before you make up your mind so go for it.
