Long Since Forgotten

Standing Room Only

Rocketstar 1007

Released on January 27, 2004

$11.75
Buy

After the release of "All the Things You Said..." Long Since Forgotten quickly climbed the ladder of sales to be the top selling band on RocketStar Recordings' roster. Due to their constant touring they have become a band that is just as comfortable on the road as they are in their own home town of Syracuse, New York.

At the tail end of their national tour Long Since Forgotten spent three weeks recording Standing Room Only with Ed Rose at the famous Black Lodge Studios in Kansas. The outcome is one of the best sounding albums that Ed Rose has ever done. With musical influences from The Police to The Get Up Kids, this album is not only amazingly catchy but also artistically relevant in today's overly pretentious indie rock scene.

This cd is just soso. The band doesn't really do anything for me. Its not that I hate the cd and cant listen to it. Its just unoriginal and a little boring. There are some catchy songs on here but if you are looking for something with a unique sound this is not it, although its not bad within its own emopop genre. For fans of Jimmy Eat World, Acceptance, etc.

This cd is very good. It's very indie-like. Almost all the songs sound the same, though which is the only downfall. But that doesnt mean that its not good. It's all-around, good stuff.

I first heard about these guys on the much missed MP3.com, so waiting for this album to get released was much anticipated. I have to say this is one of the most thought out, emotional and amazing album EVER!!!!. Have to say Long Ride Home is my favourite track, but you truly won't find a bad track. For those of you looking for an album to stick on and not skip a track is literally ordered to get this album. To the guys who created this masterpiece (Including Ed Rose) congrats and thanks.
