New York's All Out War is a punishing display of the aggression of hardcore crossed with the brutality of metal while avoiding the shortcomings of both genres. To get a taste of All Out War's musical style, envision Slayer's "Reign In Blood" colliding head on with "Age of Quarrel" era Cro-Mags. Two styles as different as they come, but All Out War combines the two to form an attack unmatched by today's standards.

This is a really good album. Fused with lots of hardcore energy and has alot better instrumental work to me than for those who were crucified plenty of hardcore breakdowns and fast hardcore riffs you will enjoy.

There seems to be big arguements at the moment with whether bands are "Metal" or "Hardcore".
Well I think that arguement will again be present with the new All Out War cd. Personally I consider AOW a hardcore band, but they definitely play the most metallic hardcore around.
This cd is as brutal as the style gets, the production is huge and the music and vocals are amazing.
Every song seems to be just as good as the last one.
So whilst everyone is busy jerking off over the hugely overrated new Bleeding Through cd, get this instead. Its way harder heavier and better.
