I love as I am growing older I'm always discovering new music I never checked out before. Enter The Big Boys. Being a Texan i'm kind of ashamed of myself for not learning about the Big Boys legend earlier in life, but oh well. Great music... kinda of funky punk, but in a good way. Good soul sounding singer.

Yeeeeeeeeeah son! The Big Boys straight from Austin Texas!!! This collection is awesome!!!! I dig all that funky soul shit that they play and when they play hardcore its great too. This isnt regular punk rock, its for people with open minds only.

We've got soul lets take control.

AWESOME cd! Some of the songs are funkish but with punk aspects. Some are straight ahead, fast, hardcore punk. You can't go wrong with the Big Boys.

One of the best of the early hardcore bands, the Big Boys were way ahead of their time. Before the Chilli Peppers even formed, the Boys were whipping out their unique albums mixed with powerful anger filled hardcore and very well performed funky beats for you to shake yo ass to! So if you are a "it has to sound like punk for me to like it" jackass... this may not be for you. But if you enjoy it because the spirit and the attitude are there ... grab the Big Boys now!

What band can play hardcore punk rock and funk tunes dress as ballerinas and morons, and get away with it? No band, only The Big Boys. In a class of their own.Great fast tunes like Apolitical and Brickwall and great dancing grooving tunes like Life is just a party and Fun Fun Fun. I think of Austin,Texas and the first and the only thing i can think of is Damn! Big Boys rule so foking much!
