It may have taken me 6 months to understand the greatness, but ... well, great I guess. This album is the shizznaz. Perfect mix between new Cave In and old Cave In. Amazing technical hardcore/metal from these Bostonians. Moral Eclipse and Juggernaut are two of my favorite songs (plus they played them live in Cleveland this summer), and this album sits just below Jupiter on the Cave In scale, although this way harder of course. I can't wait to hear the new album, as I heard one new song live and it sounded like this with less metal guitars and more rock guitars with screaming/singing. The moment of anticipation - aka at least another year ... dammit.

i have heard alot of people talk about how cave in has changed their sound so much over the years. I like their new stuff and i figured i would check out how they used to sound. I love Converge and i knew that jacob bannon sang on a couple tracks so that was a plus for me. Well I have to say that this cd is amazing. Technical and well crafted. Every song is great. i didn't really like all the little interludes though, but this cd is still awesome. It will definatly stay in my cd player for a while.

cave in is one of the most talented hardcore bands out there, well at least they were before they went spacecore. really technical guitar parts and awesome melodies. its really botch-sounding at times and then has the chugga chugga metalcore riffs. definately buy this cd. jacob bannon guest vocals so why not?

I really wish whatever happened to this band didn't happen to this band, but it did, so there's not much i can do except listen to this album, i guess. Moral Eclipse is deep, down, and dirty, and i like the fact that jacob from converge get's to chirp and screech a little in there too. Terminal Deity has probably the best metal guitar riff of all time. i'm listening to it right now to just to make sure...hang on.......yeah. i'm sure.

Now I know why fans of old Cave In scoff at Jupiter (which I find to still be amazing). Being my first pre-Jupiter era Cave In release, this is one of the best metalcore albums of the 90's. It's probably my fav. Cave In CD now. Until Your Heart Stops is damn heavy with a few melodic parts thrown in, and it can get very noisy at times. They tend to play out the noise parts a little bit too much on certain songs, but it's still good. Just d/l the song "The End Of Our Rope Is A Noose" and you'll know why you must get this CD. And I like how they implement Travis of Piebald and Jacob from Converge into the album. Just order this now.

the most intellgent pummling metal record ever. i love cave in both old and new (esspecially new) and this record is no exception. "juggernaut" is the best and steven starts the whole singing spacy feel that dominate new cave in records. it is awesome. jake and kurt fromconverge and travis from piebald all guest on this album. if that doesn't convince you, nothing will.

What a follow up to Beyond Hypothermia. This music will make your ears bleed with bliss. Cave In never stops tearing through each track with their ultra heavy metal attack with emotional undertones and creative filler with songs like Segue 1. Amazing stuff before Cave In molded into an even more amazing form.

Simply amazing. This CD, though not as good as Beyond Hypothermia, in my opinion, is one of the best bands of all time. It's so frustrating that they through this stuff away for the space-rock stuff. This CD is scorching metalcore with a few melodic parts. Great lyrics too. Stephen Brodsky is amazing.

This is the first Cave In CD I bought and to be honest, some parts rocked, and some parts were just awful. When track six is over and your body feels like it's taken a pounding, then comes the awkwardness. I see where the band is coming from but the knife is just too dull for the next two tracks. Don't get me wrong, though. Both tracks have heavy load of talent. I mean, how the hell could you compose music like that. It leaves me in awe. I'd say they have a Convergish feel with a lot more time changes and different signatures and that's a big plus. The licks remain in the late 80's style but it still sounds good. It will still kick your ass after track eight. Just think of seven and eight as being an interlude or something. Hard-rockin' record, so go get it!
