I bought this LP for my friend, I already have it but I knew she'd like it. There's something very special about Dillinger Four. This is, in my opinion, their second-best album. However, it still consists of 13 very very great punk-pop tunes. You should get this.

Dillinger Four is greatest punk rock band of all time, they changed my life, with their intelligent and humorous lyrics, and their catchy offbeat riffs. A combination of Erik's "smokes a pack a day" vocals and Paddy's screams makes this album a wonderful thing. Midwestern songs is an album that I could proudly call my own. I strongly recommend it!

great album. dillinger four definately has a unique style of this very raw, sort of 'working class' style of punk rock. you can just imagine that this is exactly how they sound live in some bar. it may take some time to get used to, but if you give it some time, you'll love it. i was also very impressed with thier lyrics. very intelligent. they aren't whiney, or in your face political... but they do have something to say. anyway, whatever you pick up from D4 is going to be a great buy. this is what i think of when i think punk.
