Has some good songs on it like Riverdale Stomp and I Dont Wanna Go To The Party. Those two really stood out the most. The others just blended in. Maybe it will grow on me more in time. I would suggest you check these guys out before you buy this album.

A great album chocked full o' ramones inspired goodness. solid and at the $8.00 price it's a bargain. Weasel and Vapid write great songs and that's a fact. At least in my book. If you don't like my book, write your own godamned book.

One. Two. Three. Four!!!..............It is how every song starts on this album. Does that sound familiar? Yea, they're a band of pioneers called the RAMONES. If you like them or enjoy "Rocket to Russia" or "Leave Home",,, my friend this record is for you. Also for fans of pogo-punk/chicago style by the all-star line-up of Screeching Weasel, the Vapids, the Methadones, Teen Idols, and the Mopes. If you like any thing I mentioned above^^^ then trust me, BUY THIS RECORD!!!

This is Tyler and Emily. Okay, out of the 3 Riverdales albums, Storm the streets is without a doubt their best effort. All 3 are amazing, but for mixing both Vapids 50's pop melodies (i will make it up to you, don't let them beat my baby) and ben's odd ball guitar riffs and gunner to the end style songs (cementhead and blood on the ice just plain rule), this album, along with the best production, just plain kicks ass. I can stress enough if your a fan of the Ramones, 50's rock'n'roll, and just good music all together, you need this album. The drum sound is so close to the first Ramones album, it's scary.

Do you miss the Ramones? Do you miss them so much that you wish that another band would come along do the same thing the Ramones did without the slightest hint of originality? Then the Riverdales are for you. I put off buying this CD for nearly a decade. When the first Riverdales LP came out, I bought it right away, as I was and still am a big Screeching Weasel fan, and while there were a few good tracks, much of it sounded like rather uninspired filler. I finally bought this one, as I had being hearing for years that it was much better. And it is. Except the band sounds more like the Ramones than ever. Now, I like the Ramones, but I'm not as hot on Ramones clones. The Riverdales would have been fine as a side project, but at the time they were a full-time band. The whole point of being in a band should be to take your influences and put a new spin on them. Its understandable when you are 14 or 15 and starting your first band to basically copy your favorite band, but when you have been playing music for the better part of a decade and start doing it, it seems like a step backwards. That being said, this album is solid. There are a lot good tunes that sound like stuff Dee Dee might have written during the Ramones' glory years (the first three albums) but had been rejected or relegated to B-sides. In fact, this album is better than a lot of the Ramones LPs from the 1980s. However, this is not the Ramones, so I deduct points for lack of originality.
