Awesome album! Vic Ruggiero is one of the best songwriters alive, and the rest of the band are also very talented gentlemen. Favorite tracks are "Watch This", "Married Girl", and "I Still Love You".

Every Slackers record is great, but of all of them Redlight (their Hellcat debut) is in the least rotation for me. Still "Watch This", the instrumentals & the rare acoustic number "Come Back Baby" and other Slacker staples are a must have for any music lover. Much like every album they put out...get it!

Probably my favorite slackers album, although they're all good. Many great songs on this one, including the Tommy McCook tribute Cooking for Tommy, Redlight, You Must be Good, Married Girl and Soldier!

If you're a Slackers fan, you probably don't need to be told by yet another Slackers fan that this is a classic album! If you don't own this album, buy it in any format you can - CD or vinyl! I just received the vinyl version and I own it on both CD and vinyl (I had to buy the vinyl to add to my collection...), so I can compare the two. This CD has been used and abused in my stereo system for over 6 years, it still sounds as good as it did the first day I played it. However, there is a difference between analog and digital sound and the Slackers are a band that should be experienced in analog. If you don't have a turntable, buy the CD and get as much use out of it as I have. If you have one, however, do not hesitate to buy the vinyl while you can. You won't be disappointed!

For a modern ska band the slackers are pretty fuckin' exceptional. While most are taking the ska/punk route nowadays The Slackers' music has a classic ska sound and is obviously influenced by much older bands like The Skatalites. I have to say Redlight is without a doubt one of their best. Every song is great, some sound like they were ripped right out of the 60's. If you like old school ska you'll love this. The Slackers are a goddamn rarity in today's world. A new ska band that I can honestly rank among my favorite of all time: the specials, the selecter, the skatalites, the toasters, english beat, madness. Thats no easy task. Amazing live shows too. The Slackers have way too much talent for this decade.
