This is a great pick up. This is one of those few cd's that every song is took a while to like all of them, but this is a great album from a great band

This is what punk rock should be. No frills, no gimmicks, just straightforward, fast, intelligent, rock. The start of "You've Done Nothing", and therefore the start of the whole album, is perfect. If you've heard a couple Face To Face songs and liked them, you'll like this album.

Amazing. Simply amazing. I've rarely heard such RAW passion, enthusiasm, optimism, honesty, heart, anger, sensitivity, compassion, youthful intellect, intelligence or simplicity on any punk record to date. It's not the greatest punk record ever, but I might say it's in my top 15 punk albums of all time.

Songs about everything; childhood, what's wrong with the world, relationships, the flow of society, life, learning, and love. All of this is presented with a pair of brash knuckles and an open mind. The tunes are fast, catchy, and inspirational by the most incredible raw youth energy and heart you'll find.

Standout track(s): You've Done Nothing; I Want; I'm Trying

Kickout track(s): n/a

This disc is simply one of the best ever. With Trevor signalling the end of F2F, and looking back on what this band has done, this CD started them off at the pinnacle of excellence, and where they stayed through the release of How to Ruin Everything.

I bought this nearly a year ago, and all this time I've been listening to this more than anything else. I don't really care what people say is punk, but this is definetly my favourite punk record of all time, easily just as good as any "classic" album you can think of: fast but melodic, great guitars and amazing bass, held together by Trevor's perfect vocal style, and each song is just as good as the last (although my favourites are Disconnected, I Want, No Authority, I'm Not Afraid, I'm Trying). The only thing I hate about the reviews on Interpunk is that people mostly give a 5 to anything they like and a 1 to anything they don't, with nothing in between, but this does honestly deserve a five. A must for fans of any type of punk music, as it borders on so many styles without sounding lame and experimental (i.e. Ignorance Is Bliss, ARRGGHH!!, leave well alone!!!), and it's their best album by far.

This is a really good album. It has that raw feel to it that I often always like. This album is just three guys in a band giving it everything they got without the often overdone studio magic. Great emotion throughout the entire album and if you like that raw gritty feel then you'd want to get this album. I like it better than their self titled one I have on cd (actually). I got that one at Media Play a while ago.

Face to Face is so good and this CD did not live up to their standards. Im rating this CD a 2 which does not mean im giving the band a 2. the band deserves a 10 out of 5. better Cds are "face to face" "how to ruin everything" "Big choice."

Don't buy this Face to Face album first. It's good just not as good as the Live album or the self titled. But they only have the self titled in vinyl so only buy it if you have a turntable. It's cool.
