The Vindictives do a cover album the "right" way; they take 25 songs and make them unmistakedly their own (even changing the lyrics where appropriate) while keeping the songs recognizable. All the songs are turned "punk" and played hard and fast. Sometimes, they even manage to make vastly supperior versions (I especially love their version of "You May Be Right").

Holy shit, you got 25 covers in just under 48 minutes. If you're a fan of the Vindictives then this should be one very fun album for you; nothing but charming covers of all sorts of songs from a wide array of artists. The guitars have the usual chainsaw fast Ramones feel to them and the vocals of course have Joey Vindictive's patented nasally high pitched delivery.

Don't start off with this one though, get The Many Moods of The Vindictives first, that album is nothing but pure joy from start to finish.

This is an album full of covers by the Vindictives. It kicks ass. I love this CD, and if you can, get this and everything else by the Vindictives, you won't be sorry!

Vindictives are one of the greatest bands ever. This is a cover CD though, but it's still great. If you're new to the band I suggest you pick up the Many Moods first as it's the ultimate.

SOME PRETTY GOOD COVERS, BUT THE ALBUM IS LACKING AS A WHOLE. GOOD DRUNK MUSIC. THE LEAD SINGERS VOICE IS KINDA HARD TO TAKE. BUT ON SOME TRACKS IT HELPS OUT AND ON OTHERS IT SUCKS.

Very good! This is an album of covers songs that are just awesome. I've never heard of a lot of the songs but they are all good! Turning Japanese, No rules in Love, Chewy and robot man are my favs. I don't have Leave Home but kinda wish i got it instead of this(cause it is all Ramones covers and i love the ramones), but this album didn't disappoint me at ALL. If you don't have any Vindictives albums this is a good one to get.
