To tell you the truth, I got this strictly for Void. The Faith is ok and all, but Im not a big fan of their music. Void kicks ass though, The Void side has great songs like "Condensed Flesh", "Who Are You", "Organized Sports", "Explode" and my favorite "My Rules". Void just rules, that's all you gotta know haha.

Im not saying The Faith is horrible, I like "Face To Face" and "Nightmare" but I just prefer Void.

I give this a 5 because of Void.

Not as good as I though it would be . The reviews made it seem like a must have record but it really wasn't . The Faith sound very plain and there isn't any song that really stands out . they sound like any average punk band and were nothing special . The void side was ok but was also kind of chaotic (not in a good way). All the songs just kind of blended together .

There's really nothing I can say about this that hasn't been said. Surely this is one of the finest splits ever released (beating NOFX and Rancid by a mile). Both bands bring different styles to the table, with the Faith bringing more of the usual harDCore style and Void bringing their interesting, "play it all as fast as possible" style of play into the mix. A fine record, I suggest listening to the Void side first. About eighty times.

Both these bands kick some serious ass!! Some of the best old school DC hardcore I've experienced. Lead singer for Faith is Alec Mackaye(Ian's brother) and they also got some left over member from SOA(Henry Rollin's band before Black Flag.) Also, SOA's bass player(Wendel Blow) went onto to be in one of the best bands ever, Iron Cross!! So, if you have the means, I'd reccomend that as well. And if you're just gettin' into the old school DC scene, I'd really reccomend checkin' out the Flex Your Head comp.
