This is a very raw, live record from one of the Germs first shows (before they were banned from the Whisky). I would recommend this to extreme Germs followers, Germs records completists, or people who really love extremely raw and live punk rock recordings. Like this other dude below me says, this is not the place to start if you are just getting into the Germs. I would suggest first buying the Germs one and only album "MIA" or seeing the Germs "Media Blitz" DVD. The Germs made punk rock in a bizarre and raw sort of poetic way that no other band has even come close too so it's important to at least hear "MIA" before listening to their more rough recordings. If you're already a fan (or Germs cult member) you will love this, but if you've never even heard any Germs before, start with "MIA". Man, Darby Crash was one crazy-junked-out-psychotic-genius-Bowie-fan.

Raw and alive.. does it get any better than that.. if your a first to the Germs.. dont start here, i recommend that you watch a few Germs videos live.. and if you can get ahold of an old movie called "The Decline of Western Civilization" -(a punk rock documentary of the LA punk scene back in 80-83) you'll get some insight to the Germs that will give you a sense of respect of hate for the germs.. they dont suck.. its just that Darby was too f***'d up on acid, schrooms, E, booze, beer, coke..... good lyrics though..
