If you love the Germs you'll love this. Sex Boy is completely audible, and Sugar Sugar is a must hear for a Germs fan. Pick this up, its got some very interesting songs and strange takes on Germs classics (they play Lets Pretend at nearly spoken-word speed, which is very cool, and very funny when Darby starts to sing the previous song in the middle of it) This also has one of the greatest Germs songs that never made it onto a studio recording, 'Street Dreams', and i'd buy this CD just to be able to hear this song. The Darby-Audience exchanges are hilarious, if for no other reason than they all sport that classic californian blown-away style of speech (Audience Member - "GET OFF THE STAGE" Darby - "Oh come up here, big pussy" Pat - "Sissy sissy" Audience Member - "Oh go get bent!" Darby - "Why dont you get your fucking brain bent" -Everyone in the room bursts out laughing) Great recording, make sure to get this.

punk rock in its truest form. a lot of kids ask me "if you hate good charlotte, simple plan, blink 182, and sum 41, then what is punk??" and now all i have to do is play this cd for them, and watch them cry

Really really good. Even though the germs weren't known for being the best live band, darby stays on tempo much more than he does on any of the other live recordings i've heard. There are some songs on here that weren't released on any other albums so i would strongly suggest this to any germs fan.

Although the Germs is a awesome as fuck band, and their songs are great, this CD isnt very good. They play all good songs but since this is their first show ever live most of the basslines and some other instrument parts are completly fuct up and improvised. The sound quality sucks too. Its still a decent CD, but you would be much better off buying MIA.
