Badlands started as a project of singer /songwriter Viktor Nefkens in the spring of 2001. After a year Viktor recorded his first album “False Gestures” with the help of new found label “Rebellion Records Holland” and two studio musicians. With 2 new band members and lots of live shows the “False Gestures” album was reaching more and more people, and even some members from well known bands such as Blood for Blood, Ignite, Agnostic Front, Discipline, Dropkick Murphy’s and The Business were amazed about the quality of the song material and the vocals of Viktor.

In the winter of 2003 Badlands went into the studio again to record 10 songs for the new album. The album is called “The Hands Of Time” and it will be a classic for sure. Top-quality songwriting, strong musicianship, a good and clear sound, intelligent lyrics, amazing vocals and good rockin’ music, Viktor improved his singing qualities even more...Streetpunk rock ‘n’ roll at it’s very best!!!
