This album is ok, Henry Rollins can't right lyrics worth a damn, I mean "Jealous cowards try to control"? c'mon a midget with downs from the woods West Virgina could write better lines than this guy. But for some reason it gets me pumped so it all works out.

Very nice cd with awesome black flag songs (depression, rise above, six pack) Great for someone who wants to get into that band. Full of classics that will make you scream like an idiot. Hell yeah.

Okay I had Damaged on Cassette but then it ripped. I bought Damaged on CD thinking the sound quality will be better but it isn't...oh well I still love this overrated Classic album. Black Flag's Damaged starts with the oh so kickass rise above and ends with Damaged 1, which I love/hate. Anyways right from the start you might only like Rise above, Police story, Tv party and Gimmie. But as time go's on, you'lle fall in love with underrated tracks like Depression and Damaged II. Well if you don't have this album get it.

With this album, I believe black flag set the bar for all punk bands. This is the highlight of 80's hardcore.

This is an amazing introduction to the Rollins-era Black Flag. A crossover album, if you will. Top notch punk, including versions of songs from earlier line-up such as "Gimme Gimme Gimme", "Police Story", and "Depression" and early indication of what the band would become. I love every era of Black Flag and every single singer they ever had. This is a great document of an era. Entertaining and angry.

Great cd. TV Party is a kick ass song. Probably one of the best on the cd. I highly recommend it though. To those who only like the Rollins Band, well your metalheads lol and this is Henry at his greatest.

This is a great album. I really liked it but if this is your first Black Flag album, I suggest getting first four years before getting damaged.

This is the first album I bought with Rollins on it. This is a decent album, but if you are looking for the old Black Flag album then be ready for a minor suprise.
