This is music --aggression, power, punk. There are mistakes, off notes, miss-hits, and out of tune instruments. Most people would call that a poor recording, we call it music. The way music is actually played. The way it sounds is the way it is going to be heard.
These days rock is dead, punk - we wont even go there, and emo dudes are carrying purses. Music...well, music is exactly where it should be.
Produced and Recorded by Gilby Clarke and The Bronx, save for tracks 1, 3, and 10 - recorded and mixed by Beau Burchell.

Wow dood this is like totally awesome! It's the most awesomely awesome album I have heard in all my 17 years! Fuck yeah! This shit rocks like a motherfucker!
Actually, I'm not 17 and this album is terrible. There are traces of Dead Kennedys, Suicidal Tendencies, Iggy And The Stooges (BIG vocal influence), The Hives and, somewhat oddly, Snuff, the English pop-punk outfit, amongst others - the usual unoriginal contemporary tempo mishmash, in other words. There is only ONE GOOD FUCKING SONG on this WHOLE CD, the first one, the one that is the theme for that shitty braindead asshole-filled show Call To Greatness (Call To Gratingness more like!). I accidentally caught it flipping channels one day, the song stuck in my head, I bought the album on the strength of an MP3 of it, hoping the rest of the album would live up to it and...
..another $12.50 I coulda spent on cheap booze down the fucking drain. This album is a prime example of the reason why I don't buy new punk shit.
Sigh.
Fuck it.
Flush this.
Can I get my money back?
Please?

i'm kinda new to the whole "pissed off in your face" kinda punk....but this is really catchy stuff. poeple talk about how real the bronx is, well i believe it. it is kinka poppy in a way, but it also is very honest and open and approachable. the songs are a little repitive, but all in all still have the desired affect: make me wanna rock out!!!!

Well, I just don't know what to say about The Bronx. The sound like basic hardcore punk. But, it does get my heart racing everytime I listen to it.I don't know if its the guitars or the vocals, but it all fits so well.Great band, but I'm only giving it 4 stars because some of the songs sound kinda the same. But don't let my opinion ruin it for you.Try'em out.

Good CD. I reccomend it to fans of Dillinger four actually. Reminds me of them for some reason. Good, although i wont be able to listen to this for more than a couple of days. Not too catchy.
