Emo Bashing Fastcore Pimps

Six Weeks 79

Released on September 16, 2003

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

INSULT were one of the original hardcore thrash bands to re-invigorate the Dutch hardcore scene in the early 90's. With a total grip on powerful, head-raking thrash these kids let it rip straight from the heart in the fine tradition of INFEST. This CD contains all of their recorded material, from the hard to find EP's and split EP's to the full CD, as well as their final three recorded songs and live material from their final gig in November 2001. 37 blasts of head-deflating thrash chaos in all!

Fast fast fast! This band from Holland lasted for about 4 years or something, but left some insane music to make your ears bleed forever, get it now!

I have to tell you I've been looking for this album for a while, and it delivers and meets all expectations. Unlike the other reviewers on this record, I didn't purchase this by accident. Insult is a highly sought after power violence band that takes the brutality of bands such as assuck, the speed of no comment, and the tounge and cheek humor of spazz to create a really enjoyable sound all their own. Fans of Power violence, old hardcore, and traditional grindcore should take note. If this isn't your bag.....then buy the more traditional hardcore sounds of the boston band.

Without a doubt the worst cd I bought on Interpunk. The music is actually okay until they add death metal vocals. They also have 30 second samples in between every song which really ruins the cd.

Don't be fooled, this is not the same Insult from boston that released 'I Wanna Be A Burn Victim'. althought it isn't, this is still some pretty cool crossover/power-violence in the vein of old D.R.I. and Cryptic Slaughter. even though I purchased it by accident.
