I have to say, I'm not 100% sure how I feel about this album. It often seems boring when I listen to it, yet I keep coming back and listening to it again. I was expecting it to be more musically oriented than it is, it's more of a collection of ambient noise and samples with occasional instrumentation. Good background music, or good to listen to just laying down in the dark; not good to listen to when you want something really interesting. Set Fire to Flames is not another Godspeed You Black Emperor or A Silver Mt. Zion if that's what you're looking for.

Also, the gatefold and the nice little picture booklet that the 2xLP comes with are pretty cool looking and interesting. Nice, heavy, good sounding vinyl as well. I'd be interested in hearing their previous full length. Get it if you're looking to try something new.
