Pretty good hardcore record. everything i would expect from DBS. i like the new record just fine too, but sometimes it seems a little too 'nu metal.' as much as i enjoy Death By Stereo, i recommend you listen to Iron Maiden instead. i mean, those guys know metal.

If there's anything disappointing about this CD, it's the fact that Death By Stereo still take themselves so seriously. A song with a title like "I Wouldn't Piss In Your Ear If Your Brain Was On Fire" should get at least one good belly laugh, though there might be some black humor in shouting, "I should take your cock and shove it right through your heart!!" As far as anger goes, they've got it in spades. The howling guitar solos and meteor shower drumming should bring disaffected youth from both sides of aisle into the mosh pit. Death By Stereo may push the limits a bit with there anti-government harangues, but overall, "Into The Valley Of Death" is a sonic outburst not to be missed. Listen carefully for a cameo by Rob Aston of the Transplants, in one of his more calculated fits of yelling.

This is an amazing cd. Some people find Efrem's voice to be too different to enjoy, much like I did at first, but now I love it. There isn't a bad song on the entire album. I highly suggest a purchase.

Wow, this is a really heavy album! Death By Stereo's music is not quite punk, and not quite metal, it's somewhere in between the two. There are some melodic sounding songs and some songs that just completely thrash! Really great stuff.

I've been wanting to get this cd since it came out but I never had the money. I'm glad I finally got it though because like the other Death By Stereo cd's, it totally rocks. I'm only giving it 4 stars cause I still think If Looks Could Kill, I'd Watch You Die is better.

This is an amazing piece of hardcore history...the album blasts through 13 tracks without a moment to rest...buzzsaw riffs, high speed solos and unique vocals by the one and only efrem make this album one of the best to come out this year. if you liked their first 2 albums then you should definately get this as the deaths usual penchant for hardcore on the edge of thrash is still there, even stronger than before...the album is explosive and full of political and emotional anger...if you like your politics raw, real and to the point then get this...walk into the valley of death and you wont regret it

Ohhhh baby, DBS gets me hot. Such a great band. I've only been into them for a little over 2 years, but in that time frame, I have grown to adore them more and more. Not too many bands like 'em. They can crash at my place anytime.

This is an amazing CD. Oh man its such a typical review thing to say. N wait, it's SPECTASTIC. That's the word now use it. I think this Cd is a´lot like their first Cd only a bit more melodic without losing any of their hardcore touch. Enjoy and buy.

Very good! This CD met my expectations and more. It also contains a very cool music video for the song Wasted Words. Awesome CD, classic Death By Stereo screaming with catchy melodies also. Good for all Death by Stereo fans.
P.S. This music video is a billion times better than the video for Desperation Train
