I thought Killswitch Engage were a hardcore band after hearing "My Last Serenade", on reflection I can see I was wrong as that song is the least intense one on this album!

A bona fide metal monster of an album, with excellent double-bass drumming and ripping guitars. Some of the riffs on here almost sound like they might come from Slayer at their peak.

All in all if you like quality heavy metal, this is a worthy purchase. If that stuff is just too heavy & intense for you, steer clear!
