(Chris From Swarm, Left For Dead, Ruination)

Deathwish 20

Released on March 11, 2003

Canadian band fronted by vocalist and lyricist Chris Colohan, formerly of The Swarm, Left For Dead and Ruination. Their debut album combines political punk energy (Discharge, Nausea, His Hero Is Gone) with bulldozing metal power (early Entombed, Celtic Frost) and powerful dirge (Sleep, Neurosis, Melvins).

Basically, I'm a fan of the Swarm, so of course I love this album. To describe it simply, dark straight up hardcore. If you're a fan of the Swarm think of it as the next step in Chris's songwriting, but the song structure is better as far as the music goes. Can't wait for the new album and tour this year !

well, for starters, the packaging is great. deathwish really puts the effort into the visual aspect of all of their cds. as for cursed, id have to say im impressed. along the lines of tragedy, his hero is gone, or maybe systral. lots of evil vocals, dark lyrics, and gritty guitars. worth the money.
