These days we see some of the best bands formed from the ashes of groups’ past. Atlanta’s CURSED
SAILS was assembled by former members of Issues and Woe, Is Me, and they prove this theory to be
true. Brothers Ben and Cory Ferris have taken everything they’ve learned from years of experience
writing and performing music together, and joined forces with Brent Guistwite and Omar Magana to
create a band that puts the music before everything else. Their debut full-length, “Rotten Society”,
showcases tracks that demonstrate these talented individuals have plenty left to say. Produced by Drew
Fulk (Motionless in White), “Rotten Society” is packed with heavy-hitting songs featuring crunching
guitar riffs mixed with electronic beats that will have every metal-core fan lining up to see the band
perform. CURSED SAILS will be out on tour with Ice Nine Kills to promote the release of their Rise
Records debut, and then head out on the 2014 Vans Warped Tour. This will be a big year for CURSED
SAILS; they’re metal-core veterans bringing something fresh and exciting to the scene.
