Red Scare is one of those labels that seems to either find average bands, or bands that are doing something special. Holy Mess aren't quite a Holy Mess but they lack any originality. The Midwestern punk sound is great but is getting very over-saturated. Yes it's catchy at times but why am i going to listen to this when there are Banner Pilots, Dillinger Fours, Lawrence Arms? Those guys do it better.
