This is Amanda not Donna. This is good.....but I prefer Dealing With It, a lot more. Some of the songs on here, (I Don't Need Society, Couch Slouch, etc. etc.) are on Dealing With It, and they're re-done perfectly. But for all the really good songs on here anyway - make up for it. This is good good good anyways - so who cares? This is fricken' fast, and you need it. Get this and Dealing With It - yup. Then you'll have fun - haha. One of the fastes bands ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The re-issue of the Dirty Rotten Imbeciles first record, plus a bunch of extra tracks. Once you hear this, you'll understand why these guys are known as "The fastest band in the world." A lot different from their later stuff, which is more metal (but still good). If you like thrash, this is a must-have.

I love this cd. One of the best hardcore punk/metal album of all time. Great lyrics too ("There are no war crimes War is the crime!"). My favorite song: we are US. But the choice is soooo difficult! I love every single song on this album. BUY IT!!!!!!

Good album, although its kind of marred by bad production. "Dealing With It" Is probably the definative DRI album, but this is pretty close. Remember DRI fans, buy the version on Beer City, not Rotten Records. The Beer City reissue is approved by the band. They have nothing to do with Rotten anymore.

D.R.I. make the kind of noise that punk rock bands would make if they didn't have to worry about record contracts and fans. That means explosively fast drumming, tuneless guitar distortion and lyrics no more sophisticated than "Reaganomics killing me/Reaganomics killing me/Reaganomics killing you". The songs on this CD go so fast that you might miss a couple if you sneeze. They're not the kind of songs you sing along to, either. I mean you can't. Kurt shouts those words like he's going to die in a minute and has 50 pages of his last words to recite. You can't make out what he's saying, but you don't want to. His ideas are pretty disagreeable no matter where you come from. And it only gets worse from there. Thankfully, Beer City expanded this CD so y'all could get to hear Kurt's vision of a world with "No People". That song alone can wreck whole cities.

DIRTY ROTTEN IMBECILES ARE THE BEST FUCKING TRASH BAND IN HISTORY EVER, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!!!! FAST FUCKING SHORT SONGS AND LYRICS THAT ACTUALLY MEAN SOMETHING, EVEN THOUGH YOU CAN'T HEAR HALF OF THEM. 50 SONGS IS TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY AND FOR D.R.I. I'LL PAY ANYTHING. I DON'T NEED SOCIETY!!!!

Great seminal hardcore with some metal influences (still bearable, unlike their later efforts). Super-fast and angry, with pissed-off lyrics about society in general. Contains the 'Dirty Rotten' LP, the 'Violent pacification' EP, the 'Vats' demo and some live tracks and radio interviews from when they were still called US DRI. Good stuff!
